SUPERMAC VISIT TO HADRIAN CAR PANELS LTD

PRESS RELEASE
Newcastle United, Arsenal and England soccer legend Malcolm "Supermac" MacDonald came face to face with a fully fledged Roman Centurion when he visited Hadrian Car Panels' headquarters at Fourstones in rural Northumberland at Easter.
The megastar of the seventies, now broadcasting to the North East's radio listeners every weeknight on Century FM's "three legends" show, was at Hadrian to officially open the Company's new warehousing facility. Rather than battle it out for the honour of opening the building, "Supermac" and "Jefficus" [Jeff Barnett] put theirs heads together and decided to jointly perform the ceremony with swords drawn [photo].

Commenting on the warriors of the past, Hadrian Car Panels Ltd Managing Director Dennis Bowman said "I'm delighted that our high profile guests got on so well. If Supermac had taken a penalty shot at Jefficus the poor fellow might have ended up back in Ancient Rome!"

The Warehouse opening marked another step in the continuing success of the car panels business, which has seen an additional five employees taken on in the last 18 months taking the workforce to 40. That makes the Company, celebrating 30 years of trading, one of the largest employers in rural Tynedale.

Dennis added "As a Company we are experiencing strong demand from our national customer base and this means that we need to continually assess our warehousing and human resources. We are delighted that our ongoing success allows us to boost the local economy and employment prospects for the people of the Tynedale area."

The occasion was completed when Hadrian's Warehouse Manager Jim Robson was delighted to be presented with a signed copy of Supermac's recently released autobiography by the great man himself.
